High concentration niacinamide serum, which effectively reduces redness, pigmentation, acne, and improves skin texture. Niacinamide is one of the most extensively researched skincare ingredients. A multitude of peer-reviewed studies have revealed its benefits for the skin, including clinically proven effectiveness in lightening the skin tone, reducing acne and spots, improving the protective barrier and balancing the microbiome.
- Positive effect on reducing skin pigmentation by providing an even tone. It helps to stop the transfer of melanin from melanocytes to keratinocytes, thereby preventing melanin from reaching the skin’s surface. In addition to inhibiting melanosome transfer, niacinamide also inhibits the synthesis of melanin itself.
- Provides a significant positive impact on AQP3 (aquaporin) function, thus improving skin hydration.
- Enhances the functions of various proteins, essential for the formation and maintenance of the skin protective barrier, including filaggrin, involucrin, and keratin. Furthermore, niacinamide has been shown to improve the composition of lipids that make up the epidermal protective barrier by stimulating keratinocytes to produce ceramides.
- Reduces the proliferation and growth of C. acnes bacteria, while it has no effect on two other commensal (harmless) bacterial species - S. epidermidis and S. hominis. Although C. acnes is also a commensal bacterial species, studies have found that a larger proportion of this species compared to others was associated with visible changes in skin appearance. Using a 5% niacinamide serum twice daily reduces the occurrence of new pimples in oily skin.
Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Squalane, Niacinamide, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/ Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Triethylene glycol, Parfum, Citral, Limonene.
Active ingredients: niacinamide (5%), olive oil squalane (10%).
Usage: apply serum on clean skin, gently distribute and massage into the skin in light circular motions. Avoid using near the eyes. Intensive course - 10-15 days in the evenings.
